Luxury accommodation within the wilderness .

100 Acres of Wilderness + Luxury Accommodation

Wollemi Retreat - the House

Where it all began; the house was built in 2012 and sits on a commanding clifftop ledge overlooking the creek. The house can be rented out by itself between Sundays to Thursdays. On weekends you have to rent out the whole property, house + a cabin(s).

Wambal Cabin

Wambal means ‘Mountain’ in Wiradjuri language and this beautiful cabin has views of Wheelbarrow Mountain sitting at 1200m ASL. In winter you might be lucky enough to view a snow capped peak only several kilometres away.

Winyu Cabin

Winyu means ‘Waterhole’ in Wiradjuri language with this cabin down by Cox’s Creek and close to the biggest waterhole on the property with its own small waterfall. The creek is close enough to hear the flowing water to soothe the soul.

The Property.

The Cabins were designed with ideas from international travel and staying in some of the worlds most wildest places. We envisaged something luxurious only three hours from Sydney where you could immerse yourself in nature and feel a world away from Australia’s largest city.
At current count you will be surrounded by 93 species of Flora, 2 species of Amphibian, 72 species of Bird, 11 species of Mammal, 11 species of Microbat, 2 species of Monotreme, 6 species of Reptiles and a rich history of Indigenous culture.
